This course is a combination of traditional and digital methods of animation and computer game development. You will have creative and artistic control over productions using a
wide variety of methods. You will develop a variety of skills in traditional and contemporary methods of animation design and develop narrative understanding for the products.
You will be able to design and prepare animations within the pre-production and realise this creation in practical units that will take you through animation and games design
This is a level 3 full time course. The qualifications gained will be UAL Level 3 Diploma in Creative Media Production and Technology (60139869) and UAL Level 3 Extended Diploma
in Creative Media Production and Technology (60139870).
You require four GCSE grades A*-C for this course or equivalent including English and maths at grade C or above. A portfolio of artwork is also required.

How will the course be taught?
You will learn through a series of assignments that are developed on programme. All assignments are coursework based and many can be tuned to fit with your own career objective.

The course will be taught at The Store, Kingsway Campus in Dunstable.

You will be assessed through assignments that are structured to explore different methods of animation and games production. Assessment is ongoing in class and via submissions.
You will be presenting work and producing written documentation in support of your ideas.
