You may have your sights set on working in catering by opening your own business, or in a Michelin starred restaurant and we’re here to help you develop customer service skills and turn your passion for great cooking into a career.
Our tutors have spent time as Chefs in prestigious restaurants and teach students in state-of-the-art catering kitchens in our main Dunstable campus. Students enter local, national and international catering competitions yearly with CBC Catering Apprentices winning a gold medal in the Villeroy and Boch Culinary World Cup in Luxembourg in December 2018.
In addition to competitions, students host and cater monthly themed evenings in The Chilterns restaurant, and are involved in pop-up restaurants with guest chefs including Phil Fanning of the Michelin starred restaurant Paris House in Woburn.
With hands-on experience, excellent training and working as part of a team in The Chilterns restaurant students have a great first step into the catering industry at CBC.
