Central Bedfordshire College engineering success

Students from Central Bedfordshire Colleges 14-16 Engineering Department were tasked with a project creating an artefact that expresses their interest and passion on a chosen subject.

Students on the course had to work independently on their projects from choosing a subject they feel passionate about to creating and developing an artefact that could fully express their feelings about their subject.

As part of their overall qualification students would be awarded one GCSE for this project at grade A,B or C.  Students quickly went about choosing their subject so they could spend time developing their work in the hope of achieving the best grade possible.

Daniel Cook of Queensbury Upper School comments:

”I enjoyed the project because it gave me the freedom to choose a subject that interested me, know I would have the guidance and support of my Tutors”.

John Laid of Vandyke Upper School comments:

“I enjoyed the project because I could show other people the importance of the Royal Engineers and how lucky we are to have them”.

All students involved in the project completed it successfully and are currently waiting to receive grades back for all of their hard work and dedication.
