Football Trials

Trial Dates for 2010/11 Entry to the Football Development Programme are fast approaching!

Are you aged between 16 and 19?  Want to further your education? Want to continue with your football dream and be part of this League winning team?  Then this is the course for you!  Our programme has been running for over 7 years, with new management since 2007/08.  We are now in the process of building on the tremendous success of previous years, to ensure our students have the opportunity to move on to higher levels of football.

Last year not only did we win the British Colleges Elite League, British Colleges League and were runners up the Sessa League – we only had outstanding achievements academically with 80% success rates and 100% achievement rates. A staggering 14 out of 17 students have been offered and accepted places at University in this country and abroad.

We are currently one of the largest Football Development Programmes in Bedfordshire & the only programme that offers a full time-table of football & football related activities…players on our programme are eligible to play for any club that they wish to; if you do not have a link to a midweek club then we can provide you with one!

Apprenticeship Employer Open Day

As well as hosting a variety of events to attract prospective Apprentices, Chiltern Business Training are also holding an open day aimed at attracting employers. WEDNESDAY 9th FEBRUARY 4 – 7pm at the Houghton Regis Campus

Apprenticeships are a proven way to increase the productivity and effectiveness of your workforce, as you can address any skills gaps within your organisation.
The on-the-job-training will lead to nationally recognised qualifications for your employee, with many subjects covered including Engineering, Construction, Business Administration, Customer Service, Childcare, Hairdressing and Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, as well as many more.

CHILDREN IN NEED PAMPER DAY!

Pamper Day held in the Beauty, Holistic and Hair Department Houghton Regis Campus,
on 19th November in aid of Children in Need  from 10am – 2pm.

We will be offering Mini Manicures, Mini Facials, Back Massages and Wash and Blow Dry.
All treatments will be £5 and will take approx 30 minutes.

Other events will take place throughout the day to include a Male Leg Wax (OUCH!),
Tombola Stall, Raffle ,Bid Box, Face Painting, Nail Art and a Cake Stall.

COLLEGE BISTRO OPEN FOR BUSINESS

The College Bistro, run by the Hospitality and Catering students, is open for lunch every Tuesday. Staff, students and members of the public are welcome to come and sample the 3 course menu for a very affordable price.

Food is freshly prepared on the day and previous menus have included a choice of the following dishes:
