If you are not sure which course you would like to take, or you are worried about whether it is the right level for you, please do not hesitate to ask for help from the College. Tutors are available throughout the year to answer any questions that either you or parents/guardians may have.

Make sure you make the right choice when you leave school, if you think you’ve found your dream course then why not come and try it out! Tasters can help you decide between courses if you are unsure of what direction to take. They can help you to find out that you’ve made the right choice too – even if you already know what you want to do!
Sometimes it can be really confusing taking the first steps to deciding your future career. A lot of the time you really don’t know what to expect from a college course, it may be very new to you. That’s why we want to give you every opportunity that we can to come in and meet us, talk to the tutors and have a go at some of our courses. Open Days, Taster Days and other events can help you see what college life is like – the more you do to help make your decision, the more confident you can be that you’ve made the right one!
Taster Days are run all through the year for our full-time courses and you can usually find details from your school careers department or Connexions Advisor. Take a look at the calendar below for an idea of when the next ones are coming up.

Come for a Visit or a Tour…
If just want to have a look around and to speak to someone about Central Bedfordshire College and our courses, then please get in touch! Our School Liaison Officer would love to give you the guided tour of any of our campuses.
We’d really recommend a visit to the Houghton Regis Campus to see the new Spa, Fitness, Holistic Therapy and Construction facilities too!

Careers Advice
The Central Bedfordshire College Careers Adviser offers an inclusive service for current, prospective and past learners. There is no age limitation.The Connexions adviser offers a specialist service exclusively to learners up to 19 years of age (or 24 years old for those with special learning needs)
