5 GCSE grades 9-4 or A-C (including English and Maths) or A Merit/Distinction in a relevant Level 2 Diploma and a 4 or C in GCSE English and Maths* If you do not meet these entry requirements please ask about our Level 2 programmes. *Exception: If you have a 3 or D in English or Maths we will still consider you for Level 3, but you will be required to retake the exam alongside the main programme.

Business studies gives an excellent overview of specialities sure to provide you with the knowledge you need to become a brilliant asset to any industry.

Course Overview

These programmes aim to equip learners with the skills, knowledge, attitude and values to enable you to work towards a successful career in business, enterprise and commerce. The Extended Diploma is equivalent to 3 A-levels. You will take the 90-Credit Certificate in Year 1 and complete the Extended Diploma in Year 2.The programme is designed as a progression route to University, Higher Apprenticeship or employment in with a variety of roles.

This course also has 3 options to study a specialist pathway in either Finance, Management or Marketing and Promotion if you wish to specialise.

Areas of study could include: • Business management • Finance and accounting • Marketing and creative promotion • Pitching for a new business • Business law • HR and corporate social responsibility

Your Tutor will be on hand to support you throughout your course to develop your skills, prepare you for your next steps and help you to achieve your goals.
