Is this course right for me?
This course is for people that have completed their Level 3 electrical instalation course and is required for those who want to work in insutry. It is known as the 18th Edition or as BS 7671 or wiring regulaltions. The 18th Edition course is essential for all electricians working in the UK.
Course Overview
The guidelines set out by IET (Institute of Engineering and Technology) cover the installation of new electrical appliances and maintenance of existing ones, including any additions or alterations. This is completed over 6 Saturdays starting 20th May. At the end there is a 2 hour exam that consisits of 60 questions. The pass mark for this is 60% which should be just enough to understand the question and locate the correct answer in the I.E.E.
What options are there after completing this course?
Full time work on site but you can upskill further by doing the inspection and testing qualification.

This is a full fee paying course and can only have a maximum of 15 students at one time. It is mandatory that you have the 18th edition book, including the amendment 2 (Brown book). This will be need in the exam.
