How will I learn?

You will have roughly 12 hours of classroom time each week with a mixture of practical workshops and theory lessons.

How will I be assessed?

You will have several assignments to complete during the year to track your learning and progress. At the end of the year you will be assessed with a 10 week Final Major Project in which you will research and explore a theme and develop an artistic response to it.

Equipment and other costs

Sketchbooks will be required throughout the year. Not a requirement but students who source access to 3DSMax and Adobe at home and a graphics tablet tend to do well.

What additional work outside of college will I need to do?

You will have homework each week which will tend to be artistic investigations and/or assignment work.

Do I need to find a work placement? Do I need a DBS?

No.
