Course content
This qualification is great for learners aged 16-18 years old with limited knowledge and an interest in production or maintenance engineering. No specific prior qualifications, learning or experience are required for learners undertaking the qualification, however, it is expected that you should have sufficient levels of numeracy and literacy to be able to satisfactorily complete the course.

This course is delivered at our Luton Road Campus
How will I learn?
Through realistic practical sessions and theory-based work
How will I be assessed?
You will be observed carrying out practical tasks to produce a final product, through written assignments and online/written exams
Equipment and other costs
You will need to provide your own safety boots and work trousers/overalls, A4 Lever arch file, dividers and plastic wallets.
What additional work outside of college will I need to do?
You will be required to complete work outside of the classroom and study independently
