Will the course give me what I want?
This qualification is great for learners aged 16-18 years old with some knowledge and basic skills in production or maintenance engineering to enable them to progress safely into the workplace or next level of study. This qualification will help you to develop the transferable skills, attributes and behaviours needed to progress to further study at the next level and employment in the engineering sector.

This course is delivered at our Luton Road Campus
How will I learn?
Through realistic practical sessions and theory-based work
How will I be assessed?
You will be observed carrying out practical tasks to produce final products, through written assignments and online/written exams
Equipment and other costs
You will need to provide your own safety boots and work trousers/overalls, A4 Lever arch file, dividers and plastic wallets.
What additional work outside of college will I need to do?
You will be required to complete work outside of the classroom and study independently
What have students who have taken this course in the past progressed onto?
You can progress onto a Level 3 course in Engineering, entry level employment or an Apprenticeship in a related field.
