These qualifications will provide the ideal introduction to the construction/ sports/ IT industries and cover essential skills in both Maths and English for the ESOL learner.
Course content
This one year course incorporates a level 1 ESOL English, GCSEs Foundation Maths and a vocational course in either Construction/IT/Sports.
How will I learn?
Through taught lessons using a variety of teaching styles, practise papers, online learning, and practical workshops/sessions. A curriculum, which is tailored to help you develop your English and Maths skills at your own pace.
How will I be assessed?
Each aspect of the course will be assessed independently. This may also involve practical workshop and classroom theory based work. The level 1 ESOL English will be Task- based controlled assessments and a GCSE Foundation Maths exams.

Equipment and other costs
All equipment and other costs are provided free to 16-18 year-olds. Adults will be have to provide their own boots and overalls for vocational courses.

You will be able to progress for the level 2 course of your pathway (Construction/Sport/IT).
