Will the course give me what I want?
This course is a great starting point for anybody that would like to work with the public. Whilst the course mainly focuses on careers in the police, fire service, prison service, army, navy and RAF, we will be able to support you with a wide range of career goals.

How will I learn?
You will be able to learn in a fun and interactive environment with a tutor that is experienced in teaching a range of public services courses. You will learn through a variety of different methods including practicals, interactive sessions, videos, presentations and self evaluations.
How will I be assessed?
Your assessments throughout this course will continuously monitor your progress; these could include practicals, research tasks, worksheets or presentations.
Equipment and other costs
We do ask that any student wishing to partake in trips and visits purchases the public services kit, which consists of a hoodie and polo shirt. There are other optional items available too.
What additional work outside of college will I need to do?
Most of your work will be completed at college, but sometimes you might need to complete a piece of work as homework.
Do I need to find a work placement? Do I need a DBS?
No, there is no work placement for this course, and you wont need a DBS.
