Technologies and Computing have radically evolved and is now heavily embedded in everyday life. Through these, we communicate, manage our finances, plan our transport and much more. In 2018 in the UK, there were 338,000 workers in programming and software development which is only ONE of the hundreds of roles available in this sector. If you are looking to start a career or boost your existing skills in this pivotal industry, there is a course here for you.
At CBC we offer IT courses from Level 1 to Level 5, and our Level 5 courses are accredited by the University of Bedfordshire. Our IT courses are delivered from both our Dunstable Campus and Leighton Buzzard Skills centre and provide an excellent mix of theoretical study and practical skills development to help you on your way to the role you want.
Our Technologies and Computing tutors are industry professionals and will support you in developing your skills and finding your passion. You will have relevant industry trips and guest speakers including employers such as the Ministry of Defence, Microsoft and Santander to inspire you throughout your course.
Your tutors will show you how to build computers and networks, programming languages and help you to find what interests you most so that you are prepared for your next steps into the workplace, higher education or Apprenticeship.
We offer Apprenticeship opportunities in this sector too - click here for more information and to see our current vacancies.
