If you are looking to start a career or boost your existing skills in this pivotal industry, there is a course here for you.
This qualification will provide the underpinning knowledge and enhance your skills in providing Systems Support. There may also be an enhanced learning opportunity for you to study a CISCO qualification.
This is a 'hands on' qualification that will suit learners who would want to work in the Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) sector in a number of different job roles such as Database Administrators, IT Product Developers, Telecommunications Technicians, Systems Support Specialists etc. This qualification will help you to develop the transferable skills, attributes and behaviours needed to progress to further study at the next level and employment.

English & Maths: You may not be sure whether these subjects are relevant to you, but good English and Maths skills will be vital to any career path and we're here to support you in developing yours.
Work Experience is crucial to preparing you for your next steps and here you will have access to a wide range of employers to make sure you gain plenty of workplace experience. Careers Advice & Guidance is available throughout your time at CBC from our friendly, dedicated Advisors. They can provide you with a wide range of support including CV writing, UCAS applications, interview skills and much more.
What options are there after completing this course?
Upon completing your course, you have a great range of options available to help you continue your adventure. After completion of year 2 you could progress to a Level 3 Diploma in ICT Systems or Level 3 in Computing. Alternatively you could look for an Apprenticeship or entry level employment.
