Careerometer: A tool to compare jobs

We understand that your time with us is a stepping stone to your future career, and we are committed to providing you with high-quality, impartial and accurate Careers advice and guidance.

Our qualified, friendly and knowledgeable Careers Advisors are on hand to help you discover the range of options available to you, whether you are a current, past or prospective student.

In addition to our Careers Team, you will have access to relevant external agencies and advisors, to ensure you receive the most up-to-date and accurate information.

Through the Careers Team you will have access to a variety of services and support including:

  • Careers workshops
  • Dedicated 1:1 appointment with a qualified Careers Advisor
  • CV writing & interview skills
  • Labour market information to ensure you can make informed career choices
  • Careers resources including CV templates, personal statement tips and UCAS application tools
  • Job search assistance including part-time, full time, volunteer opportunities and apprenticeships
  • Careers fairs with opportunities to meet employers

You will also have access to the wealth of industry-specific knowledge that comes from your Tutors, and with this, you will receive a programme of careers education within your course to ensure that you are well informed of the opportunities within your chosen industry. You will experience guest speakers, industry trips and learn employability skills and much more within your Personal Professional Development sessions to make sure that you can make informed, motivated decisions about your future career.

The team are available throughout the year and can help you decide what to do even before you join the College.
